What does our climate future look like? Answers to these and other questions can be found in the Climate Experience Room.
Opening hours: MO-FR from 2 to 4 p.m. by appointment,

The global climate crisis isn't always easy to understand. Sometimes it scares us or we feel completely overwhelmed by it. Our big goal with this Room is to give you the courage to develop and live a climate-friendly lifestyle.
You can also learn to better understand the Linz city climate in a simple way. You discover causes and effects in a playful way and also possible solutions to prevent those said causes and effects from happening.
The first edition of the Climate Experience Space Linz focuses on the theme of "Heat in the City". The room consists of several installations. They are multimedia and made to be touched or looked at.
Your visit starts here at the info panel, where you can find background information and watch the Linz courage films. Then it continues to your right with several installations. The climate experience ends when you reach the last installation, the photo box (sponsored by LINZ AG) and the climate wish tree.
To begin with, we would like to remind you once again that the man-made climate crisis affects us all. Regardless of social class, origin or age. If we do nothing about it, it will have a dangerous impact on our lives and our future.
The Climate Experience Room Linz was implemented for you by the Innovationshauptplatz and the Climate Office of Linz in cooperation with the multimedia agencies Valentin Ortner & Florian Ortner and MESSENORD Mathias Schaumberger.
The equipment of the Climate Experience Room consists largely of ecological materials and is mobile. This means, in the future the contents of the exhibition can be sent on tour to all other parts of the city.
