You've always wanted to know what Linz's city climate is like? Where exactly in Linz are the hottest and coolest places? Do you know how to create your perfect climate-friendly day in Linz? What does our climate future look like? Answers to these and other questions can be found in the Climate Experience Room. 

Opening hours: MO-FR from 2 to 4 p.m. by appointment,
free of charge and ideal for groups of up to 6 people.

Larger groups and school classes please contact the Innovationhauptplatz office by email at innovation@mag.linz.at to arrange an appointment with a supporting programme (hydrogen experiments with the Climate Unit).

Episode 1: „Heat in the City“

The first edition of the Climate Experience Space Linz focuses on the theme of "Heat in the City". The room consists of several installations. They are multimedia and made to be touched or looked at.

Your visit starts here at the info panel, where you can find background information and watch the Linz courage films. Then it continues to your right with several installations. The climate experience ends when you reach the last installation, the photo box (sponsored by LINZ AG) and the climate wish tree.

To begin with, we would like to remind you once again that the man-made climate crisis affects us all. Regardless of social class, origin or age. If we do nothing about it, it will have a dangerous impact on our lives and our future.
