Social Innovation
for an inclusive city
In the Linz Hackathon/Makerthon, the city invites all interested parties to spend a weekend working together on ideas for social innovation in the city. To this end, we are collecting questions from people who are confronted with problems and restrictions of various kinds in their everyday lives. These can be, for example, barriers in public spaces, language barriers, difficulties in old age or intergenerational issues.
Until 13th of April, the community voting for those ideas took place: 225 likes were given (most of them for the project Foot Lifter by Team Cyberducks) and 1201 battles were fought by 132 users (Team V_RTUAL L_NZ received the most votes).
At the meeting on 14 April, the jury discussed their final assessments of the projects, presented and selected two winning projects with equal points:
Congratulations to the projects "CommuniCheck" by Jan and Julia and "Foot Lifter" by Team Cyberducks. You convinced in the community voting and especially in the jury meeting and will be rewarded with 5,000 euros each for your ideas!
