On Thursday, 28 August, the Pioneer City Festival 2025 took place at Lonstorfer Platz from 3 to 6 p.m. The project team provided information on the current status of Linz with Ambitio3xn and invited participants to contribute suggestions for further implementation to the ideas pool.

Guests were able to use stickers to mark new city bike stations on an orthophoto, which the project team will incorporate into further planning, along with all other ideas for a climate-friendly Franckviertel.

The festival was accompanied by a varied supporting programme:

• The game ‘1-2-oder-3’ by Franck.Connect (Volkshilfe Upper Austria) provided excitement and great prizes.
• A mobile City Bike station with rental bikes invited visitors to try them out.
• The Linz Kinderfreunde conjured up colourful faces with face painting.
• Über den Tellerrand from the Franckviertel spoiled us with culinary delights.
