Price for
Social
Innovation 2023


The City of Linz will award a prize for social innovation for the first time in 2023. It intends to support projects that aim to implement innovative ideas that help the citizens of Linz in their everyday challenges.


If you want to start or advance an innovative project in the social sector of Linz, apply for the prize by sending a short description (max. 4 pages A4) to innovationspreis@mag.linz.at by 31 October 2023 and win up to 8,000 euros.

A special prize will be awarded for a project related to self-determined living at an older age.

1. Place: 8.000,- Euro

2. Place: 6.000,- Euro

3. Place: 4.000,- Euro

In addition, a special prize of 8,000 Euros will be awarded for a project related to self-determined living at an older age. 

Timeline Price for Social Innovation:

  • 1. to 31. October 2023, Submissions per Mail
  • 16. November 2023, 6 p.m., Award Ceremony in the Lentos Kunstmuseum

The submitted projects will be evaluated by a jury and handed over at the award ceremony on 16. November 2023 in the Lentos Kunstmuseum.
